I found my last First Aid Course, with another provider, very overwhelming with a lot of information and being talked at. This was completely different - it was broken down into simple modules, explained, demonstrated and then we took it in turns in pairs or groups of 3 to have a go. Small, additional skills were then added with the same teaching style. This really worked for me and I found it very easy to remember. Our trainer was friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable and you felt completely relaxed and confident on his course. I would recommend this provider to everyone!

A very informative and educational course delivered in an excellent manner. Humorous and light hearted at times, serious when needed. As this course was for the sailing club & we have the boats available, would be good idea to actually stand on a boat & show how to do some of the life saving activities in the limited space available on some boats. We did discuss it & this was extremely valuable but maybe time could have been found for this.

Andrew was absolutely brilliant - so knowledgable, very funny, kind and willing to give the best explanations and answer all questions. He clearly has brought so many years of personal experience as a paramedic to the table and you can really tell. He made a long day feel short with his unwavering enthusiasm and tackled tough subjects with ease. It's a serious day, but I think the relaxed atmosphere helped me to absorb a great deal of information and skills that I could use, but *touch wood* I won't have to use. Also, great tech! Having a monitor on the CPR dummy was a real help, to get an accurate feel for pace, pressure etc.
