I've worked in the NHS since 1991 and attended multiple First Aid courses. This one beat all of them hands down. The trainer ( Ross) clearly knew his stuff, and explained everything really well. I learned more on this course in one day than I did in my entire time in the NHS. It was interactive with so much opportunity to learn and practice with great training resources. So often a First aid course can feel like going through the motions. As a teacher I deal with bumps and scrapes every day but I also take the responsibility of going on trips and residentials where anything can happen. Having a good knowledge of the equipment to carry to help prepare for any eventuality and the first aid knowledge to back it up is invaluable. This course is both practical and informative. An excellent choice for those who don't always work in conventional spaces.

It was reassuring to ve able to ask questions that had been concerning ne. The trainer answered clearly and was supportive. I feel more reassured and confident not only about skills but about the role/ responsibility and liability etc He ensured that all tasks were clear and had been carefully demonstrated. He offered advice and encouragement during practical tasks and ensured the whole day was conducive to learning. He managed a group with very differing needs and experience so that a felt included, more knowledgeable and confident by the end of the day. Humour was used appropriately but advice and crucial information and guidance was delivered with authority and care.
