I found the day to go by smoothly, Ross was a great trainer who was very engaging and enthusiastic with content that could otherwise seem dull. I felt that I learned a lot of practical knowledge and any questions I had were answered very well.

I left the course feeling like I had gained a lot of job specific first aid skills, and feeling well equipped with the knowledge to deal with incidents should they arise in my job and also generally in life, so I'd say the day was very valuable to me.

I learnt new things that I haven’t from previous first aid courses for example, how to put someone in a recovery position if they are found on their front, different hand positions for CPR on adults and role play how to use a defibrillator and what it sounds like,etc

I recently completed the Emergency First Aid for Sport course and found it to be both practical and clear. The trainer used repetition to make sure we were confident in what to do in different situations, and they cleverly adapted scenarios to put us under some pressure.

This approach really reinforced the learning and gave me confidence that I’d know how to respond if needed. Highly recommended for anyone involved in sport or fitness.
