Kentdale First Aid Training My colleagues were jealous when they heard which First Aid training I was attending and after spending a couple of days with Angie and Andrew - now I know why! They made everyone feel very welcome and comfortable, particularly those of us who may have initially felt self-conscious who were either new to First Aid training or VERY rusty! Drinks and biscuits were in constant supply (always a winner) so there was no excuse to be dehydrated or peckish! Angie and Andrew were both brilliant at delivering the programme. There was a lot of content to cover but their hands-on experience, extensive knowledge and real life examples they shared to illustrate the 'theory' was fantastic. If the aim is to help new knowledge stick, their style of delivery is what you need! An effective mixture of theory, real-life examples, and where appropriate, we had a practice ourselves with a variety of training equipment.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone needing to gain a First Aid qualification or refresh their knowledge and skills.

Kentdale First Aid Training It was a very useful course especially after three years since the last course I was on. During the years I haven’t had to deal with many large accidents at work, usually just cuts and bumps from the open farm aspect of the business. Many of the more serious accidents usually happen to myself or my boss due to the nature of the work we are involved in. Even though this is, it was good to refresh on more critical first aid such as CPR as my last experience of this was when my dad sadly had a heart attack on a family ski holiday in early 2020 and didn’t make it. It is reassuring to know that if the time ever came that I would need to use this skill I would be able to perform it correctly and the computer in the CPR dummy really came in useful to show this. I will hopefully be back in three years for another refresher!
