I thought the course was absolutely fantastic. Pete's friendly, approachable and a great teacher. The course gave me a lot more confidence when administering first aid and gave me a deeper knowledge of it. Pete incorporates stories from real life experience within the training, which normalizes first aid situations and reduces anxiety when you go into them. This first aid course is fantastic and I can't recommend it enough!

This training was far and away the best I have ever been on for first aid and I have been on many as a school pupil/swimming teacher/ lifeguard/ teacher. It was very engaging, real, affecting and did a brilliant job of combining lots of detail and information explaining bodily functions, scenarios and the "whys" of what we are doing etc while also paring things down to simple basics meaning I feel far more clear in my role as a first aider. I liked the pre eLearning work. it built a foundation for practical work. I also liked the way the trainer explained how the body works in given scenarios which provided context for understanding the response required. The course was really well delivered. Focussed but kept light enough to be absorbed. There was a lot to get through and it was very well paced. A very very worthwhile 2 days.
